Overview
On 1stCollab, we handle all creator payments and tax filings for your creator partnerships. To get started, we'll need you to first send us a refundable deposit for the campaign.
We use the deposit to:
Pay out creators who have completed campaign milestones.
Pay for overdue invoices.
Pay early termination penalties on agreements where brand Tasks are overdue.
Deposits are always fully refundable once all invoices have been settled.
Adding Funds and Viewing Deposits
You'll be asked to make a deposit before launching your first campaign and your deposit amount will be:
2 months worth of budget for a monthly campaign budget.
The lifetime budget of a campaign.
We call the required deposit amount the "campaign minimum" and you can view your campaign minimum along with current deposits in the Deposits tab in Billing.
Adding Funds
In the Deposits tab, click "Add funds".
Here you'll seeing ACH and wiring instructions for how to submit funds to you campaign.
Use the ACH or wiring instructions to send funds from your account to 1stCollab. Once we receive your funds, we'll display them in your Deposit History and update your current balance.
ACH or wire transfers for banks in the United States usually complete within 1 business day. International wire can take up to a week to complete.
Feel free to confirm via Slack or Email wiring or ACH instructions before submitting funds.
In order to launch your campaign, you'll need to make sure your current deposit balance is at least the campaign minimum.
Deposit History
Any activity related to your deposits will be displayed in the Deposit History and will update your current balance.

FAQs
Why can't brands just pay an invoice after a creator has gone live?
Why can't brands just pay an invoice after a creator has gone live?
We've seen that we can get significantly more creators on more favorable terms into each campaign if we're able to pay them immediately they've completed their agreements (vs. Net30 or Net60, which has become standard terms across the influencer marketing industry). The only way we can standardize this process is by having funds already available to pay creators as soon as they go live.

We've also unfortunately had cases where we've paid creators but didn't end up receiving payment from brands. To avoid these situations, we ask for deposits from brands.
